Being in my first year, I began to worry about a lot of various components. One being the well being of my students, and one of the most complicated components for me has been creating the library necessary to benefit the academic excellence of my students. My students have a desire to reach new levels in their reading. They want books that intrigue them. They want books that excite them. However, as a first year teacher, I am unable to meet all of those expectations with my current classroom library. My classroom library has limited the imagination of my students, and they are begging for more. The students in my classroom have a desire to adventure that await them in their books of choice. The problem is, the books in the library are broken, missing pages, ripped, or uninteresting. With your help we can create a classroom library that inspires a students academics, encourages a students dreams, and allows students the opportunity to soar. Lets spread this reading fever.
