My Project

This Project will provide students in my Low-Incidence Special Education classroom with the resources needed to "Master Life". The Items being donated (cardboard boxes, tooth brushes, towels, paper bags, envelopes, etc) will allow my students to work on a variety of skills, such as personal hygiene, purchasing groceries, stocking items, putting together packages, sorting and addressing mail, and so much more! Ultimately, I want to focus on a wide range of skills that can allow my students to not only be as independent as possible but also prepare them for life beyond high school. Once students in the Low Incidence Special Education setting reach High School, our main focus is working on post-secondary goals. Therefore, it is important as a teacher to provide them with as many skills and opportunities that support students to reach their Maximum potential.
