This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
All my students are immigrants from various countries, living with guardians who are both relatives and strangers opening their homes generously. Sadly, all of them live below the poverty level and have encountered substantial challenges in their young lives. Despite these hardships, they are determined to succeed and fulfill the American dream. Many have journeyed long distances, crossing borders or oceans, in the pursuit of a better life for themselves and their families back home. Your donation to our class would offer them the chance to enhance their listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills.
