This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I work as the technology coach for two schools in an urban school district north of Boston. The schools have students from many different backgrounds and come from all over the world! For most of my students, English is a second language and most come from poverty. Students have limited access to technology.
I would like to give my students many opportunities to succeed in school and in their lives.
Giving my students the latest technology is so important for them to prosper.
My Project
I need this great professional development opportunity in order to better meet the needs of my diverse learners. With the opportunity to attend this 2-day professional development workshop, I will be able to go to workshops that cover a variety of topics such as digital learning, STEAM, Coding, virtual reality, and digital citizenship.
The knowledge that I will learn from this conference will allow me to help my diverse learners increase their knowledge in technology and 21st-century skills.
I can learn so much from this conference! I would love to go to the conference to also connect with other educators in my field. Thank you for considering supporting my project.
