My students have brilliant minds. They come to school each day ready to learn. They do a lot of cooperative learning projects in class that require partnerships inside and outside of the classroom. Students take on different roles in their groups to allow each student to take on additional responsibilities.
My students are at varying language acquisition, literacy, and mathematics levels.
They enjoy the arts and keeping fit. They are motivated learners ready to take on challenges and expand their knowledge.
This pandemic has been tough on everyone, especially on our youth. With the current COVID variant it seems a new wave of uneasiness has been shed upon on everyone. I want to make my students feel safe at school and be able to focus on the fun of learning without being worried about getting sick. This can be done by reinforcing safety measures and following safety guidelines so that we can focus on the fun of learning in the class. To help keep my students protected I'd like to receive face masks. By having masks accessible to them, they do not have worry about having a mask if they forgot to bring one to school or if they need to switch it out during the day. By providing these masks to my students they will be able to focus on the learning at hand and stay safe while wearing a well-fitted mask.
