Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come to school happy, energetic, and ready to start the day. My students love coming to school, learning new things, and exploring their environment. They are an awesome group of students despite their disabilities with communication. I teach severe and profound intellectually delayed students.

Most of my students come from low-income families.

Our school is a Title I school with grades Pre-K through fifth. My school is a nurturing and caring environment. The staff members and students interact and embrace my students daily.

My Project

I teach students that have severe and profound intellectual disabilities as well as underlining health conditions. My students will need the KN 95 mask to keep them safe throughout the school day.

As a teacher it is my job to instruct and to keep my students as safe as possible.

The items I am requesting will help my students immensely to keep them safe during teaching and instruction. I also want to give the parents peace of mind about their children’s health while they are away from home. Please help me help my students.
