This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are special because of the unique personalities and spirits they bring to the classroom each day. Like all students, they have experienced some struggles related to COVID such as the absence of personalized instruction in the classroom setting for over a year, and the loss of social interaction with their peers and teachers.

The supplies requested for this project such as multiplication and division math machines, counting games/activities, and math write and wipe boards will help restore and build essential math skills that are crucial for their academic success and applicable to the "real world." In addition, it will allow students to learn these skills with engaging materials.
