This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students LOVE incorporating a good book into the music room. Books are a great way to teach students about the musical element of meter and a perfect way for students to compose and perform.

Help me give my students a love for books and music!

By reading musical books, students will have the opportunity to experience meter though print, song, and even dance!

Students will not only learn music, but they will also discuss new literature and how it relates to music. Students will learn to cooperate and grow independence as composers and performers.
