My Project

In our classroom, we build community, work very hard and focus on social-emotional learning to become conscientious humans! This grant will provide us with motivational incentives to celebrate a job well done, and they will be used with my students throughout the school year! Prize box incentives like stress balls, fuzzy bracelets, emoji stamps, and fidget toys will motivate my students to make better decisions and learn to be a better humans. In our classroom, we embrace the chance to express our creativity and collaborative spirit, while at the same time trying to show as much kindness to each other as possible!

Today, children need extrinsic motivation in order to develop into well-rounded, innovative, and confident human beings who are intrinsically motivated.

As a teacher, my goal is to teach the whole child. The inclusion of motivational incentives in the classroom allows me to do just that! The motivational incentives will inspire my students to be their best selves so that they can make a positive difference in their school, community, and the world!
