My students need a variety of mathematics games that include hands-on materials and manipulatives such as Early Math Folder Game Libraries, three math activity stations, along with a Number Line Math Activity Chart for fun learning centers.
We are a first grade classroom that enjoys learning mathematics through games and play. We need a variety of games for all the learners abilities in our classroom. We enjoy working in small groups and supporting each other while we learn.

We are a very diverse group of students with multiple learning styles and abilities. We are a very large school with 34 different languages spoken amongst the students. We have learned that mathematics is universal. We enjoy learning about others cultures and seeing that mathematics is where we connect! We enjoy working in small groups and with games to support our learning abilities.
My Project
With so many abilities, cultures and languages spoken in my classroom, the students will be able to connect with each other through the universal language of mathematics and games. The requested games and activities will be used daily, in small groups and partner work to support the students in their collaborative efforts to build the foundational mathematics skills needed to be critical thinkers! What better way to do this than a variety of fun mathematic games!
Donations made to this project will support early learners for many years to come.
It will take a diverse classroom or cultures and languages and provide a common ground to create, establish, and foster relationships through fun mathematical games. Students of all abilities, cultures, and languages can connect and work together to learn and support each other. These materials will foster friendships, critical thinking, good citizens and cultural awareness through mathematics.
