My Project
My middle school students are bright, funny, often loud, active, inspiring, emotional, social and lovable students.
My middle school math intervention students will succeed with hands-on math manipulatives, engaging lessons, a pencil, and their own calculator to make progress as budding mathematicians.
This school year I want every math intervention student to view themselves as capable in math. Math will serve them well as they earn money, spend money, and become adults in our world.
Financial literacy skills learned in 7th grade math class will be with students for a life time. Through educational teaching units purchased from Teachers Pay Teachers, I will be able to help my student learn through hands on experience about simple interest, sales tax, percent increase, percent change, and how to get the most for their money as future shoppers. Thank you in advance for helping my middle school students believe they are capable of being GREAT at math. It is my joy to be able to prove this to every student I teach in the math classroom.
