My students come to school every day ready to learn! They are creative, thoughtful, kind, and are full of curiosity. They are eager to learn and each has a unique learning style. As their teacher I try to meet each of their learning styles so they are successful and actively engaged in my classroom.
My students all come with different academic and social backgrounds.
They grow throughout the year, and we celebrate our achievements. Third grade is a big year for growth and understanding.
My Project
My students need math boxes to keep in their desks to easily access math materials during our math time. These materials will help them practice their math facts alone or in groups.
Multiplication fluency is a third grade standard that many students need extra direct practice with.
These materials will provide them with this opportunity. The flash cards will help each student focus on the facts that they need extra practice on. We will use the dice and playing cards for multiplication games and practice. Right now students don't have enough materials to practice on their own and some students struggle with this concept.
