This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our middle school is in the west side of Corpus Christi, Texas. We are a Title I school with a low socio-economic population. Most students learn to go without.

For the first time in several years, our MS band received a UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Sweepstakes award for their performance in March 2024.

The students and their community are really proud of their accomplishment. We couldn't have done it without the generous donations from people like you.

We would like to continue our success for the next year. Our needs are great but our spirit is mighty! Please consider donating to our wonderful and growing band program.
