This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach science to elementary students and they are very curious children. They want to know the what, how, and why. What is it that about? Why do they do this? How can that happen?

In my classroom, I have a huge map of Mars.

Students are always wondering and asking questions about it. I would love to start a unit study on Mars that goes along with the map. For my younger students, literature is a great resource. Students love looking at pictures and learning more about different topics.
