Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have joined our class 40 Book Challenge. They have been challenged to read as many books as possible, up to 40 or more, this school year. They have been working diligently to read those books. Some are so close to reaching the 40 book milestone and have declared that they will be part of the 40+ book challenge, eagerly anticipating passing the original challenge. I am determined to help them celebrate their book reading milestones with tangible prizes such as a celebratory dog-tag keychain, a page clip with our school mascot's paw print, and miniature book keychains, to name a few.

It is important to mark with as much pomp and circumstance the reading milestones the students are reaching, especially since it is their own personal reading goals that they are setting and achieving.

Help me celebrate these amazing readers that are choosing to read, read, and read! Thank you for partnering with me.
