Markers Matter: Help Us Write, Solve, and Learn Every Day!
Help me give my students the dry erase markers they need to actively participate in daily lessons, share their thinking, and build confidence in the classroom!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a teacher at a Title I school, I see firsthand how the lack of basic classroom supplies can impact our students' learning experience. Our school simply does not have enough funds to provide each teacher with a class set of dry erase markers that will last the entire school year. Often, we are left waiting weeks or even months for restocks—if they come at all.
Dry erase markers are a critical daily tool in our classrooms.
Whether students are solving math problems on whiteboards, practicing spelling, or participating in group work, these markers help make learning active, hands-on, and engaging. Without them, our students miss out on valuable opportunities to practice, make mistakes, and grow.
With your generous support, we can provide enough dry erase markers for classrooms across our school, ensuring that no child has to go without this essential tool. Your donation will help create a more equitable and effective learning environment where students can focus on what truly matters: learning, creating, and thinking out loud.
Thank you for helping us give our students the tools they need to succeed every day!
