My students need Expo white board markers to use throughout the instructional day. Students use these in a variety of ways including small group and whole group instruction during our math lessons.
The motto in my classroom is Board = Paper! Students use their whiteboards frequently throughout the day in both math and reading, as this is a great way to have all students actively engaged throughout the lesson. They also save on paper and copies! My school is a Title I school located in a small town near a large military base.
Many of my students come from low income families, and our needs are often great.
My classroom of 21 students is an amazing bunch, and my students would love to have some brand-new supplies.
My Project
My students use the whiteboards and erasers on a daily basis in math as well as frequently in reading class. This is an amazing way for all students to be actively engaged as well as a way to hold all students accountable for learning. With recent budget cuts, our copy supply is small and using white boards helps to keep the copy numbers low. Whiteboard markers can be very expensive, and my school does not have the funds to provide us with markers on a regular basis.
My students love using their whiteboards, and markers are always drying out and needing to be replaced.
Please consider funding this project for our classroom. Using whiteboards is also a great way for me to save on copies!
