Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year has presented many challenges, but school supplies should not be one of them. Students will use the markers in their interactive ELA and Math notebooks, as well as for various art projects.

Markers make notes visually engaging.

In the ELA interactive notebooks, students will use the markers to recognize different figurative language features, each portion of their ACE responses (Answer, Cite, Explain), and more. Students will also use the markers in their interactive Math notebooks to represent the steps to solving various math problems. To help with engagement during distance learning, students will also be given the opportunity to use markers instead of pencils for various writing activities.
