Markers Make Coloring Fun!

Help me give my students markers to refill the supplies for the rest of our year.

My Students

My school is a small and diverse, Title I funded school on the east side of Washington. My students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds and 96% of our students receive free breakfast and free lunch every day. My students walk into my classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for the day.

My students are eager to learn and do their best; they want to be at school learning and being successful every day because kindergarten is their happy place!

My students are creative, caring, and clever. They are learning how to make friends, share, and they are building lifelong learning skills in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies as they begin their educational careers.

My Project

Due to COVID-19 each student has to have their own supply bins and supplies. We use these supplies every day for reading, writing, and math activities! Our pencils are beginning to get smaller and smaller, and our whiteboard markers are running dry.

Our table supply bins are currently running low-- please help us restock our daily needed supplies!

Each student has their own supply caddy, and with this project, we will have the supplies we use every single day restocked! Who doesn't love new school supplies!?

We use pencils every day for reading and writing and math lessons, as well as whiteboards, to help reinforce the learning we do every day.

We use Crayola crayons and markers for coloring and adding details to the pictures we draw to match our stories. These markers will greatly help my students be excited to continue drawing detailed pictures with their stories.

This will be a huge help to my parents not have to send in school supplies which will take that stress off of them during our pandemic.
