In a little over a month, my newest group of kindergarteners will be welcomed into our school. They will be excited and nervous - but most of all, they will be ready for our year-long adventure.
At the very beginning of kindergarten, my students are learning how to use supplies.
Some of my students may have never used liquid glue or cut using their own scissors. Part of learning in kindergarten is learning how to use school tools. The Pipsqueak markers are perfect for little hands that are just learning how to use markers. They're small for small hands and have plenty of color to make all of their projects pop. Glue sponges are something that we use in our classroom to minimize glue mess. Glue sponges are made by soaking sponges in glue and keeping them in an airtight container. Students use them by dabbing their cut paper on the glue sponge and affixing it to their paper or project. This cuts down on drips and puddles of glue and allows students to be independent. The sponges and gallon glue bottles will help create these easy-to-use glue sponges.
