This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I plan to use these markers for deep problem solving in math and creating visual representations of math data the fire all five areas of the brain to so synapses are firing. Their posters will provide access to students who struggle with abstract math and help them bridge the gaps in learning.
I love these kids because they have come back from remote learning and are still willing to give us adults a chance to teach them math.
They are resilient no matter their economic background or prior experience with mediocre math teachers.
