This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Small children need to experience different mediums. They need the freedom to discover.

Children need time to express themselves creatively.

By giving them different crafts and free time they can do this.

In the past I have had children that have been nervous about putting their hands into finger paints and clay. But once they did it was such a wonderful freeing experience. As soon as they touched the materials they were so happy.

These art materials will help me to continue to allow my kindergarteners to express themselves and feel that freedom.
