Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will help give my students two essential supplies in our classroom: expo markers and dot markers. These supplies make learning more engaging, as the the dot markers can dot correct answers and make cool art projects. The expo markers are essential for their learning during reading and math as we often use white boards and sleeve protectors so they can easily write and erase. This project will also give my students a broom, which will help keep our learning environment clean while also teaching my students important life skills, an integral part of their autistic support curriculum. Finally, the learning games help my students build their literacy and are high interest, meaning my students can sustain their attention and make more progress on their goals.
