This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students have been learning how to use the imperfect. So to help them better understand it, we have been looking at fairytales. Students are now going to write their own stories using the imperfect tense.

Creating puppets using socks, yarn, and glue, can enhance students' creativity.

They will use the crates and their imaginations as they design unique stories for the puppets to act out. Using puppets in educational activities makes learning more engaging and interactive, which helps students retain information more effectively.

My goals for this project include enabling students to communicate with each other in the Target Language in both, oral and written forms, and for students to work together to create a story, and puppet characters in order to put on a puppet show for their classmates. These activities will stimulate students' creativity when designing and creating their puppets, as well as create original stories using what they have learned in class combined with their previous knowledge.

My Spanish classes are special because they love engaging in fun activities, activities that are out of the box, and never done in other classes. They also enjoy learning about culture while being hands-on. They support each other which helps create a positive and collaborative learning environment.
