This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Mariner Café allows students to redeem Minga points earned through participation in classroom activities, supporting teachers, and demonstrating SAIL values: Safety, Accountability, Integrity, and Leadership by Example. Items like snacks, drinks, and Pokémon cards will complement school supplies, merchandise, and other essentials. The lock will enable us to securely store the Mariner Cafe items at all times. This system incentivizes students to actively engage in their education and maximize their learning experience.

The items on this list will stock the student store, the Mariner Café, managed by my PBIS Leadership class.

The requested items will enhance learning by providing tangible rewards that motivate students to participate in activities, demonstrate good behavior, and develop skills like accountability and leadership. By connecting effort and achievement with meaningful incentives, students gain a stronger sense of purpose and drive, fostering academic success and personal growth.

The goal of this project is to improve engagement, promote positivity, and create a supportive environment where students feel motivated to succeed. The Mariner Café inspires participation, strengthens connections with peers and teachers, and empowers students to take ownership of their education, preparing them for future success.
