This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would like to combine our ELA and Science unit with Art, so that my students can fully experience the life cycle of a plant.
Students will be able to understand how plants grow and witness the different life stages of a plant.
My students will plant the flower seeds and analyze the growth in the classroom. They will understand that plants need water, sun, and soil to grow. They will be able to paint the life cycle on canvas. The mat and zipper pouches will be art resources to help keep the classroom neat and organized during painting.
