it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My brilliant students at Ole A. Thorp Scholastic Academy are beyond excited to learn how to perform Mexico's Mariachi music!
These fundamental instruments will jumpstart our very own school Mariachi ensemble.
The donation of two violins of various sizes will allow for me to size students into a violin that will be appropriate for their physique. A quality, beginner trumpet will add to the melodic line that harmonize with the violins. Lastly, both 1/2 and 3/4 size guitars will facilitate the learning of chords commonly used in Mariachi repertoire. Thank you so much for supporting music education!
