My Project
The entire Maker Movement is about bringing kids back to the process of designing, experimenting, trying, failing, making adjustments, and trying again until they succeed. They will not be successful as adults if they cannot reflect, examine, and change course to solve problems. Those are vital life skills that we libraries are trying to support within our educational system through maker spaces.
The electronic drum kit I am requesting will allow our students to write and create music as they "jam together" in our Music Jam Zone.
The requested headphone help students listens to themselves playing the drums so they can hear what they are doing. We currently have an Acoustic Guitar, a Base Guitar, an Electric Guitar, and a Keyboard Piano. What we do not have is an electronic drum kit! All we need are the drums to complete our band! Thanks for considering my project!
