This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I feel that my students are my own when they walk into my classroom. We love each other like family in our classroom and I want nothing more than to see my students succeed.
They all have a special place in my heart and I love to see their desire to learn.
I try to make sure each lesson is engaging and interesting for my students so they will love learning. We are a Title I school and each student at our school receives free breakfast and lunch.
My Project
My students come to school each day eager to learn. Our area was hit hard by Hurricane Florence and many of my students were displaced during that time. Letterland has given my students a chance to use their imaginations and venture off to "Letterland" to help them learn how to read! During a time when my students were dealing with the aftermath of the storm, each of them came to school excited about learning thanks to Letterland!
These workbooks will allow each child to complete activities which go along with what they've learned.
This will help support their learning and help to assess what they have learned during a particular lesson.
