This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year our marching percussion gets tons of action! We start during band camp, learning our show music, pep tunes, and cadences for the year. We take our drumline to every football game, basketball game, and parade. We play them at assemblies and pep rallies at school. Needless to say, these instruments get played on constantly throughout the year.
In order to keep the drumline in good working condition, we need to replace the heads every season.
Unfortunately, replacing these can be pricey and we are not always fortunate enough to replace them as frequently as we would like to. Your generous donation will help us start our next marching season fresh and ready to jam out!
