My Project
As a teacher of students with disabilities (specifically autism) motivation is so important for my students to learn. My students thrive when a combination of both toys and edible reinforcements is used throughout the school day after each teaching session has been completed.
With your help, the students can work to earn Skittles, Oreos, chips, and fruit snacks as they learn to speak in full sentences, match pictures, read, write with correct grip and form, and follow essential daily routines!
Please know how important it is to have your support as my students attend an incredibly low-funded inner-city Bronx school where all toys and edibles come directly from teachers' pockets. I love my students and together we have built a great toy area, but edibles consistently run out and I want to continue to feed young minds and bellies!
