My Project

I am a second-year teacher to some AMAZING first-graders! Our school is a Title I public charter, meaning many of our scholars are eligible for free meals, academic support, etcetera. This can present a challenge when it comes to acquiring much-needed resources.

Every year our school participates in March Mathness where we go head-to-head with our grade level to show off our very best math skills!

Help me create a fun and interactive experience where we can practice our addition and subtraction skills for this year's March Mathness challenge.

The addition and subtraction flashcards will help with memorizing. In contrast, the classroom indoor basketball hoop will be a fun way to practice our math drills, fun basketball themed prizes like pencils, erasers and keychains to give to the team when writing our math problems.
