My Project

My goal is to continue to produce an engaging classroom library for my students. I hope to create a vibrant hub for literacy, learning, and engagement which is a vital role in igniting and nurturing a joy for reading among my students. By providing access to a variety of books and reading materials, I hope to support literacy initiatives and promote reading as a fundamental skill.

I want to encouraging reading from a young age so my student can develop language skills, critical thinking, and imagination, laying the foundation for lifelong learning and personal growth.

During the March Madness, our class create a March Madness of Books Bracket and voted on favorite book series. This was informative for both students and teachers as we were all able to see what books interested 4th graders the most. That information went into what books we are trying to add to our library based on needs and interest shown. The kids loved the project and we plan to do it again for years to come.

Mr. Szymanski will only receive his materials if this project is fully funded by August 17.
