My Project

We are requesting a class set of the March book series to serve as a tool to enhance student learning around the Civil Rights Movement.

Adolescent students learn best when their learning is connected to something greater, and integrating historical events in an accessible way through literature will have a profound effect on our students.

Not only will the March series help students think about literature and history but it will also help them think of art and the intentional use of graphics to tell a story that is exemplified in the genre of graphic novels. These books will have myriad ways to enhance a deep study of literature, history, and art for our adolescent students.
