This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

Hello Dear Donor, I am a music teacher in one of the unprivileged school of Brooklyn. Our music program has just started and we need musical instruments. Our students are very talented in music. Many of them are interested in playing percussion instruments, and we would like to offer the ability to do so to our students in a percussion class. The students will learn not only how to play the percussion instrument, but also will learn how to count and read musical symbols. It makes their musical experience more interesting and creative. To make this happen, we need 25 maracas for our class. Thank you very much! A Dedicated Music Teacher
