My Project

I teach in a low-income, low-SES area with high amounts of poverty and childhood trauma. Relatedly, our community and school resources are limited.

I would like to have maps to use in my 7th grade history/social studies course.

While I know maps seem simple, being able to provide geographic visuals to my students is extremely vital, especially NOT on a computer, as I feel students spend way too much time on screens during the day and I'd like to have a map that's not on a computer. Technology is great for so many things, but sometimes having a break from computers isn't a bad thing for kids.
