I have been in love with teaching English. I fell in love with it more when I was placed as an ESL teacher in the NewComer Program for the English Language Learners who just came from the US.
I wanted some lapel and Speaker so we get to use it so they can practice their speaking skills more and some reading materials and manipulativesp.
They are English language starters. They are eager learner. We plan to have a lot of manipulatives, speaking opportunities and reading goals to achieve.
I wanted to create a lasting impact to our class by allowing them not to get glued on online stuff alone, but to fully experience being able to participate actively in class.
I am handling a multicultural classroom with students who speak varying languages from Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Spanish, and Mandarin. They are very eager and enthusiastic to learn English as their second language and I want to ensure they have meaningful learning experiences as we celebrate different cultures while highlighting the urge to learn and explore English. My goal is to make teaching and learning fun and engaging for them.
My goal is to recreate my classroom and turn it into a learning space where my students learn and get engaged. I love them to speak in front, listen to their voices, play some ESL board games, do board work, participate and get involved to different ESL learning strategies. My goal is to let them be exposed to various teaching materials that would help them communicate in English and, at the same time, find meaning experiences.
I would love them to talk, speak in public, use English in conversations, read books orally, engage in fun activities, and appreciate the value of learning English. I want to see them grow and learn.
