This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing little human beings! They come from a variety of different backgrounds and abilities but come eager to learn every single day! Our classroom has become a community where we work together to learn and grow.

My students are active, playful, and very curious to learn!

They have a desire to work hard to get the job done and understand the concepts. They work together when they are struggling and support each other when they need help.

My Project

These manipulatives will help students take charge and be engaged with their learning. Math and reading can be difficult and often times un-engaging especially during whole group instruction. With the option to use these math and reading manipulatives students can be fully engaged in their learning and use their hands to understand the concept. They will be able to focus and increase their learning!

My students are noticeably more engaged when they can take charge of their learning rather than just listening to what is being taught to them!

The manipulatives I have chosen will help my students by giving them more options and differentiation with their learning. The different manipulatives can be used in all aspects of math and reading. These will be extremely beneficial for my students, especially those who struggle to grasp the concepts by just listening and watching.
