This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Children love to create and be proud of those creations. These manipulatives will help in counting, sorting, and a whole host of other critical learning strategies. There’s nothing like watching a child’s face light up when they are excited to show what they made.

Most of my students are low-income.

It’s exciting to see them get excited when a new item is introduced to the classroom learning environment. Watching them manipulate and create is the best part of my day.
