Manipulatives in Math!

Help me give my students the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning. Fractions can be a challenging concept for students. By giving them materials such as fraction towers and fraction multipliers, students' learning can be more memorable!

My Students

The students that I teach are eager to learn and never give up. They love new experiences and mostly hands-on experiences. They love using technology, manipulatives, and visuals in various ways. They are also enthusiastic about being challenged! They are an amazing group of students.

These students work so hard and deserve the best education.

My hope for this project is that my students will continue to be engaged as well as continue to love mathematics through hands-on learning experiences.

My Project

Fractions is a challenging concept for all students. They struggle with visualizing part of a whole. Because of this, students need more than just a text book. By using fraction towers as well as fraction multipliers, students will able to visualize the concept in order to have a better understanding.

The items in this project will be used by all sixth grade students in order to enhance their understanding of mathematics and fractions.

I know these items will make a difference in their learning and education, and I am looking forward to seeing them engaged and enthusiastic when learning about fractions!
