This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love manipulatives, however they lose interest quickly. Although I have some manipulatives available, many of them are old and missing pieces. This project will allow the students in my classroom to have new and engaging manipulatives they will continue to inspire learning.
The vibrant, textured materials for this project will be new life to my classroom.
The engaging materials will also provide a variety of ways to address the varying sensory needs of my students. The students will have learning materials they can use to develop their letter and number knowledge as well as their fine motor skills.
