Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials in this project will help support students with disabilities. Educational manipulatives are great tools to teach students in a hands-on way. These manipulatives will allow students with learning disabilities to access higher level curriculums. Flexible seating will help students focus on their work. They will be able to appropriately sit in another way, so that they can still complete their work. Social emotional games will teach students coping skills and will help students self-regulate their emotions. This will provide a fun way for students to learn necessary skills.
This classroom project was brought to life by Colorado Department of Education.
