This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a early childhood special education teacher with 16 students (3 and 4 years old) many of whom are on the Autism Spectrum. My class is in need of hands-on manipulatives to help build language, teach counting/sorting and letter recognition. My students learn best though hands-on materials and all of the items in our project will be used daily during centers. We work on pre-academic skills each day so providing many opportunities and exposure using several different modalities will help to keep learning fun and exciting!

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
