My Project
Math manipulatives are an amazing way to make math engaging and fun! There are many benefits to using math manipulatives to teach students math; as many young children are visual and kinesthetic learners. Manipulatives help students visualize and use a hands-on approach to understanding math concepts. It helps make abstract concepts more concrete for the students and it enables teachers to assess the student’s understanding of concepts. Math manipulatives allow students visually explore an idea or concept in a concrete way. Concrete learning occurs when students have ample opportunities to manipulate concrete objects to problem-solve.
