Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Transitional Kindergarten is the first year that students are introduced to school. At 4 years old, the human hand is not fully developed. Using small manipulatives and lots of grasping tools, children are able to strengthen their hands to help them with future writing, The graspers and hole punch in this project will be used to strengthen the muscles in their little hands. Items like beads, dominos, and fine motor tools will help students start to use the pinching grasp that will correlate with their writing development. All of these materials will make a difference in my TK classroom and would be greatly appreciated!
