They all bring their own personality and all their life experiences good or bad to the classroom. With all different backgrounds, they come together as a family to learn in this community. School for them is not just a school but another home which they thrive in socially and emotionally. My students are not just students but friends who help me develop as a teacher and as a human being. They are hungry to learn and to become part of the world ahead of them while bettering themself and the world around them. With all the challenges they are face now and days, we have seen a strong unity among them to become better.
My Project
Manipulatives for my students who are stressed through out school and need some way to destress. Several students have asked for more manipulatives than I can provide to help them through out the day. Snacks for them spend their positive intervention points on and to help improve and promote positive behavior. Students will love to have different ways to destress though out the day while spending their points at the end of the day in the positive behavior store. Students like to eat more than I can afford and enjoy several different kinds of manipulatives that help them focus.
