My Project
Our class community is full of diverse learners of varying needs. My class is projected to be around 26-30 students. These students need access to things like counters and other resources that support hands-on learning. With our new math program that was integrated into our district this year, students are encouraged to engage with the content independently and explore topics prior to digging deeper.
These materials, such as counters and coins, will encourage individual thoughts and exploration by allowing students to create physical models with the tools.
The manipulatives will be stored in containers that will give the students easy access to the materials they need. The materials such as lapboards will be used daily during math lessons as they work on math problems.
