My Project
I teach in a high poverty school district and have half of my class that require intensive intervention along with regular curriculum. I will be utilizing centers and small groups to help my students succeed in their academics. This will allow me to target more of their interventions. When I can work with smaller groups; it allows me to be more intentional with their learning and meet them when they need help. I can differentiate their learning based on their needs with different manipulatives and resources based on the data I gather every week.
I differentiate every week based on the students performace the week before so my groups are always fluid.
Since this is the case; I don't have a lot of time to prepare, so I need to have different material on hand at all times.
The bins will help me keep track of the different groups os and it will be easy to switch materials out as needed.
