This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Math can be challenging, especially in 6th grade. I want my students to be able to be successful in their first year in middle school. This is a foundational level for secondary math.

Math manipulatives bring math concepts to life!

These manipulatives will help students visualize the concepts and problems making it easier to understand. Most students learn better when they are able to manipulate objects and your donation would do exactly that, help students understand math and make it interesting and exciting. Once students get a good foundation in math, their future math classes will be easier to tackle!
