Manipulate My Math

Help me give my students hands on clocks to learn time as well as magnetic manipulatives to help me teach other math concepts.

My Project

Every year, we embark on teaching measurement and fractions. I know there are easier ways to teach these concepts, manipulatives will allow me to do this.

Students learn so much deeper with hands on experience, manipulatives will help engage them more.

I will allow the students to teach at the whiteboard with magnetic manipulatives in order to learn concepts. I already have place value magnets and was delighted at how much more engaged they were when I started calling on students to come and build the number with the base ten blocks on the whiteboard.
